Seeking professional photographers to volunteer their services. 

Last night I attended a great photographer seminar - (captivated by the light). At the end of the seminar the speaker – Ed Pierce – showcased a very worthy organization called Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.

The photographers are non paid volunteers. Each affiliate professoinal goes on site to homes and hospitals and take photos of families and babies (the last pictures ever of the baby before it passes). In essence, they help the family remember the babies that never survived beyond birth. This not-profit organization (NILMDTS)is looking for volunteer photographers if you or someone you know is interested. I have submitted my application today. 

Though it is a sad thought to photograph the last few moments of a babies life, the memories you bring to the family will last forever. The infant bereavement photos help the family heal from their loss. The composition is soft and subtle and allows the family to remember the infant. Since the photographers are all professional photographers who volunteer their time, the services are free to family.
