Chicago Snow Storm Hits Mundelein Illinois Part 2

As a follow up to the storm of 2008, below are a few non-artistic photo’s taken of the storm of 2008!

 Snow Storm 2008 3 Inches
In the image below, you can see that after the snow was plowed, it was nearly at should length. There I am standing next to the snow pile. You can see that the top of the pile is just under my chin.
snow-storm-2008-1-inches_resize_resize.JPG In this photo you can see that the snow drift is almost as tall as the Chevy Venture mini-van. Tall! Question… why is the Little Wet Dog (Sunday) in every photo we take?!?!?
snow-storm-2008-2-inches_resize.JPG  Around mid-January there was warning on the news that Illinois couldn’t handle any more snow – the cities and state had run out of room to put the snow. If we hadn’t gotten those few warm days when everything melted, we would have had to ship our snow to Wisconsin .       snow-storm-2008-4-inches_resize.JPG  This is a photo of me looking own into the snow. You can see that the fresh snow was up to my knees!    snow-storm-2008-5-inches_resize.JPG   And no… there was no waving to the plow man with my middle finger. They usually come by our neighborhood at 4am to plow and we are deep in snore land then!

Happy shoveling all!

“Question… why is the Little Wet Dog (Sunday) in every photo we take?!?!?”

You know, I was starting to wonder about that myself. I mean, I know Sunday is a very talented creature, but come on, how does a dog manage to take all of those lovely photos AND be in every one of them? Now, that’s talent.

Sunday is just that talented! She has skills to pay the bills… but doesn’t really contribute much to paying the bills though. Hmmm…

    Cheers,
