I thought this was the funniest thing–
“We also offer two sizes of our Brolly Box, known as the “poor man’s softbox,” acting like a softbox, while designed like an umbrella. Like our umbrellas, our brolly boxes are fashioned with long poles to easily adjust the distance between the light source and the brolly. Please click on any size to learn more.”
Leave it those wacky but brilliant Alien Bee people to come up with such a great product. I would sure love to review this item and give feedback, but it may take some time.
Meanwhile, still trying to figure out which light stand I would like to order and purchase. Any input?
As a follow up to the storm of 2008, below are a few non-artistic photo’s taken of the storm of 2008!
In the image below, you can see that after the snow was plowed, it was nearly at should length. There I am standing next to the snow pile. You can see that the top of the pile is just under my chin.
In this photo you can see that the snow drift is almost as tall as the Chevy Venture mini-van. Tall! Question… why is the Little Wet Dog (Sunday) in every photo we take?!?!?
Around mid-January there was warning on the news that Illinois couldn’t handle any more snow – the cities and state had run out of room to put the snow. If we hadn’t gotten those few warm days when everything melted, we would have had to ship our snow to Wisconsin .
This is a photo of me looking own into the snow. You can see that the fresh snow was up to my knees!
And no… there was no waving to the plow man with my middle finger. They usually come by our neighborhood at 4am to plow and we are deep in snore land then!
Happy shoveling all!
I like to eat Pistachios!
YUMMY!!!
