Chicago Snow Storm 2008

Below is a photo using my new 50mm canon lens.

 This photo was taken on February 6th 2008 in Mundelein Illinois. As this has been the 6th snowiest winter in history, there was many photo opportunities abound this season.

Things to notice in this photo….

  • The stark contract of the background and foreground – this lens is amazing at allowing the photography to control the viewers focus
  • The color distinction between the whites and blues and browns of the trees – amazing detail
  • In some of the photos tt looks like the tree is reaching out to grab the viewer
